Job summary

A leading machinery company in Gauteng is seeking a Service Engineer (Mobile Cranes) to handle repair, maintenance, and client support for heavy machinery. The ideal candidate should have a Matric, trade qualifications, and over 3 years of experience servicing mobile cranes. A GCC/International driving license is preferred. This role involves ensuring machinery compliance, client relations, and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Matric; Trade or University qualification preferred.
• More than 3 years’ experience in Service of all types Mobile Cranes.
• Preferably possess a GCC/International driving license.
• Candidates from OEM or Dealership are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to find out, adjust, repair or overhaul the equipment.
• Carry out periodic maintenance of the heavy equipment machinery.
• Test machinery after repair to ensure proper functioning.
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain client relations.
• Ensure that work is undertaken safely per regulations.
• Manage stock and periodic maintenance of machines.
• Implement standard service actions and provide customer training.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to find out, adjust, repair or overhaul the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
• Carry out periodic maintenance of the heavy equipment machinery;
• Test machinery after repair or assembly to ensure proper functioning and compliance;
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain amicable client relations;
• Ensure that work is undertaken in a safe manner and that practices conform to safety regulations and procedures;
• Stock machine management and periodic maintenance;
• RI, PDI, DI, regular service and customer training etc. standard service action implementation;
• Technical support to sales team; and
• Complete other task given by the line manager.

Requirements
