VLR-1 We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Supervisor for a Multi-national Telecommunications company based in the Sandton area.
The successful candidate will have an Electrical certification as well as knowledge on Power and the Tower industry and be able to troubleshoot issues at the Tower site.
Hybrid work model Position overview: To manage a team of service delivery supervisors (SDS) in Infrastructure Deployment. The Field Supervisor manages a multiple site portfolio, comprising of a Tower Product and Power Product set. The Field Supervisor is also responsible for operational activities such as supervision of site maintenance execution, supervision of new project execution, HSE compliance, site collocation, developing relationships with the Landlords, dealing with customer queries and complaints, verification of equipment and maintenance of company assets received. Adherence to the company's International Quality Standards, undertake record keeping and reporting as required to comply with said Quality Standards. Requirements: Relevant National Technical Diploma (N4 / N6 or S4 / S6) or Degree 5 to 10 years' work experience required, which includes: 3+ years construction experience (costing, bidding, scheduling, etc.).
Knowledge of site construction (site layout, tower and shelter construction, antenna and line work, and site landscape) preferred. 3+ years Customer Service experience in construction. Knowledge of AC & DC Power Systems, including Solar Arrays and Batteries Competencies: Digital Computer Skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles Written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop good relationships with tenant, landowners, contractors, vendors and staff. Working knowledge of safety and construction Basic principles of project management Data Capturing, Management and storage and, Record keeping and Database Management Responsibilities: Effective self-leadership as an individual contributor in a high-performance environment. Supervision of site maintenance execution Supervision of new project execution Management of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance requirements. Supervision of performance of the ATCSA vendors. Execution of operational activities at site visits. Maintaining ATCSA assets. Submission of all required reports to the Regions.
