Customer Service & Sales Executive (6-month contract)
We’re looking for a motivated and fast-learning professional with a proactive attitude and a strong customer focus to join our Customer Service team. This is a 6-month contract role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple tasks, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Become the primary point of contact between LGC and our valued customers to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service delivery.
 - Order management: efficiently and accurately process customer orders; ensure orders are entered in the ERP system on receipt or within agreed timescales and notify customers when orders are released.
 - Customer support: respond to inquiries professionally; coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery; uphold LGC quality image.
 - Maintain and improve communication with field sales personnel; provide customer feedback.
 - Manage customer quotations weekly to maintain engagement and drive conversions.
 - Register customer complaints via Service Cloud (or local system) and ensure metrics reporting is maintained; escalate to Manager as needed.
 
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service environment.
 - Experience with order entry and working with ERP/CRM systems (Pastel and Salesforce beneficial).
 - Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines; strong organizational skills.
 - Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAGE, or Pastel).
 - Experience using Service Cloud/Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
 - Valid driver’s license and own transport; high school diploma or equivalent.
