Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants.
• In-depth knowledge of treatment technologies such as RO, UF, ion exchange, and advanced oxidation processes.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and hydraulic modeling.
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills for projects in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of water and wastewater treatment processes, including clarification, filtration, disinfection, and membrane technologies.
• Optimize existing treatment plant operations to improve performance, reduce chemical usage, and minimize energy consumption.
• Conduct treatability studies, pilot testing, and data analysis to evaluate and modify processes.
