Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality standards. Candidates must hold a degree in Veterinary Technology and be registered with the SAVC, along with 3–5 years of laboratory experience. Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience in a veterinary laboratory.
• Experience as a technical signatory is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced veterinary diagnostic tests.
• Maintain compliance with OHS and Quality Assurance protocols.
• Update and improve testing methods and write SOPs.
• Monitor turnaround times and communicate delays.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and manage stock levels.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Build relationships with internal and external clients.
