Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for and lead the UX design process, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and mentor junior designers to deliver best in class UI designs for our products. Senior UX designers are higher‑ranking UX designers who shape the product development process with a user‑centric mentality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Lead the UI design process from concept to final hand‑off to development teams, ensuring high‑quality and cohesive design solutions.
  • Responsible for owning, updating and maintaining the Design system which spans across the various digital touch points.
  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, commercial and digital product managers to gather and assess user requirements, influencing the development roadmap based on user experience insights.
  • Design and create user‑friendly design components suitable for various devices and interfaces.
  • Responsible for designing the overall functionality of the product and iterating upon it based on user testing, using methods such as usability testing, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Assist other designers on implementing research and testing activities to understand user behaviour.
  • Be the final approval gate for the other designers to ensure consistency on the designs before briefing the development teams.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of personalised digital experiences across different channels.
  • Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in user experience design.
  • As part of the roles and responsibilities will include the management of the Website and Mobi site as well as operations.
  • This role will be specifically responsible for managing, creating and maintaining the digital design system.
  • Be the gate‑keeper on which components are added, adjusted and removed.
  • Be the main interface into the development team for rolling out components into development for future use of that component into development.
  • Meet with product managers, engineers and other personnel to align all parties with a product development strategy.
  • Create visual elements for websites, mobile apps and other formats.
  • Lead the translating of the product vision into actionable steps by using research, generating ideas, creating sketches, prototyping, and assist team members in conducting user testing for both existing and new digital products and concepts.
  • Analyze data from user research and make decisions on how to improve a product's design.
  • Gain understanding of product specifications and user psychology to contribute to decision‑making processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to share new ideas, facilitate design workshops, and gather insights collaboratively.
  • Lead the creation, improvement and develop presentations to management on the progress status of roadmap items.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX and UI problems across digital platforms.
  • Identify design problems and work with the senior designers to devise elegant solutions.
  • Produce high‑quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes to weigh the pros and cons of a design.
  • People element (Culture): Manage teams of Junior UX / UI designers.

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in digital design, UX / UI Design, Multimedia or similar qualification.
  • 7-10 years' work experience as a Graphic designer, UI / UX Designer or similar role.
  • Experience designing solutions in a digital environment across various platforms including web, app, Mobi and communication channels.
  • Worked with UX / UI design software such as Figma and Adobe suite, WebFlow and Framer.
  • Knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Understand, create and maintain a design system.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
