About the Role Our client, a rapidly growing independent game development studio, is looking for a talented Remote Game Developer specializing in Unity to join their fully remote team. This position is open to candidates anywhere in the world, with a strong preference for individuals based in South Africa. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing core gameplay mechanics, features, and systems for our upcoming mobile and PC titles. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging and immersive gaming experiences. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with a distributed team of artists, designers, and other developers, contributing to all phases of the game development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core systems of the game engine using C++.
• Develop and optimize gameplay mechanics, physics, and AI systems.

Requirements
