Job summary

IOCO is seeking a senior automation specialist to architect enterprise-grade test automation across multiple product lines. You will define strategy, standards, and drive automation initiatives with tooling like Appium and WebdriverIO.

This role requires mentoring engineers and leading CI/CD integration for scalable testing. Based in Stellenbosch, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate new technologies, and deliver high-quality automation to reduce risk and improve release

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus Test Automation Certification.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS and DevOps Certification.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise-level test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across product lines.
• Define and drive the automation strategy in alignment with organisational goals and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new automation tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Architect and maintain native mobile app automation solutions across iOS and Android using Appium-based frameworks integrated with WebdriverIO.
• Develop and maintain complex automation solutions for critical business systems.
