About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Telecom Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation to completion in Randburg . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of project team members and third-party contractors or consultants. Your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of critical telecom infrastructure initiatives in the Gauteng province.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee and manage project teams, including internal staff and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure effective communication among project stakeholders, team members, and management.
• Manage project changes and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is highly preferred.
• 7+ years of proven experience in telecom project management .
• Strong understanding of telecommunications networks and technologies (fiber, wireless, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
