Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd seeks a Senior Technical Official to ensure substation High Voltage Plant availability and safety through inspections and first line maintenance at Aurora, West Coast.

The role requires 2 years of electrical plant maintenance experience and strong knowledge of HV equipment, batteries, transformers, and HV safety practices. A professional attitude and commitment to safe operation are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent plus NQF 4 with 120 credits for relevant function.
• 2 years electrical plant maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HV plant and equipment (batteries, transformers, isolators, breakers).

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly/monthly substation inspections, recordings and remedial actions.
• Plan and execute HV plant maintenance tasks.
• Perform environmental inspections and take remedial actions.
• Uphold safety responsibilities in operations.
