Medical Resources Group is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant / Accountant to join our client’s team in Durban. You will manage full accounting and tax functions, prepare monthly management reports, and draft annual financial statements for various entities using CaseWare.

The role emphasises tax planning, compliance, and advisory services while ensuring regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in accounting, strong knowledge of tax legislation, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting professional with strong knowledge of accounting and taxation.
• 35 years' experience in an accounting firm or accounting environment.
• Experience with CaseWare and Pastel is imperative.
• Practical experience with eFiling is essential.
• Experience with SARS correspondence and submissions.

Responsabilités

• Manage full accounting and tax function for an allocated portfolio of clients.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Draft annual financial statements for trusts, companies and sole proprietors using CaseWare.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support to optimise tax strategies and minimise liabilities.
• Respond to SARS correspondence and submission requirements.
• Travel to client sites as required.
