Job summary

Network Finance seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to bolster the tax division in Pretoria. The role focuses on tax compliance, planning and governance across the business, working with internal teams and external advisors to navigate complex legislation and mitigate risk.

You will consolidate financial data, manage reporting packs, and lead a team handling IFRS reporting, statutory filings and audits. Strong technical skills and a proactive, organised mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) / CTA with articles; strong technical background in IFRS.
• Advanced Excel modeling and Oracle/Hyperion experience non-negotiable.
• Good understanding of tax and compliance requirements; Africa exposure a plus.
• Excellent people management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Consulting experience and commercial savvy are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate month-end financial information and prepare reporting packs.
• Oversee statutory reporting and annual financial statement consolidation.
• Review Intercompany transactions for tax and statutory compliance.
• Manage tax calculations and returns: income tax, VAT, WHT, PAYE.
• Provide oversight to the financial and commercial reporting team.
• Support internal/external audits and quarterly/board packs.
• Assist with merger and acquisition activity as required.
