Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Systems Process Engineer to optimize complex operational systems in their Mahikeng industrial campus. You will analyze interconnected processes, identify inefficiencies, and design integrated solutions to improve workflow, throughput, and resource use with advanced modeling.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred) with 6+ years' experience, proficiency in AnyLogic or Arena, and expertise in Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in industrial engineering focusing on systems analysis.
• Proficiency in AnyLogic or Arena for modeling and simulation.
• Lean and Six Sigma principles applied to complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model complex operational systems, including material and information flow.
• Design and implement process improvements for subsystem integration and efficiency.
• Use simulation software to test and validate system changes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation such as process maps and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams to integrate changes.
• Identify and mitigate risks from system interdependencies.
