Placements24 seeks a Senior Subsurface Engineer to join its Benoni team, integrating geological, geophysical and engineering data to maximize asset value in the Oil & Gas sector.

You will model reservoirs, analyze production, plan drilling targets and lead cross-disciplinary collaboration while delivering technical reports to management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive subsurface evaluation and development experience.
• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering, formation evaluation, and basic geophysics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and refine reservoir models based on integrated subsurface data.
• Analyze production data and well performance to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Plan and evaluate drilling targets and production optimization initiatives.
• Conduct economic evaluations for development scenarios and workover projects.
• Collaborate closely with geoscientists and production engineers to ensure a holistic approach to asset management.

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Senior Subsurface Engineer to join their dedicated team in Benoni . This position plays a vital role in integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data to maximize the value of the company's hydrocarbon assets. You will be involved in reservoir characterization, performance analysis, and developing strategies for efficient resource extraction. Key Responsibilities
