Job summary

Together Staffing group in Cape Town seeks a highly skilled Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience in consulting engineering. The role focuses on design, analysis and delivery across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You will work on reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber designs, using PROKON SUMO and related modules to produce reliable calculations, reports and drawings in collaboration with architects and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ relevant structural design experience within a consulting engineering environment.
• Proven experience designing reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber structures.
• Proficiency in PROKON SUMO and relevant PROKON design modules.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber structures, ensuring technically sound and practical engineering solutions.
• Prepare structural calculations, specifications, technical reports and other engineering documentation.
• Develop structural concepts and provide practical construction solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review structural and architectural drawings and coordinate design requirements with architects, engineers and other professional consultants.
