Placements24 is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant for its Mossel Bay practice in the Western Cape. You will lead strategic analysis, develop growth strategies, and advise C-suite executives on market positioning and long-term vision.

The role focuses on coastal and marine sectors with direct client collaboration, formation of strategic plans, and mentorship of junior consultants. A strong MBA and several years of strategy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in MBA, Strategy, Economics, or related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or management consulting with a strong strategy focus.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing complex strategies for diverse organizations.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of strategic frameworks and methodologies (Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT, BCG Matrix).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage project timelines.
• Experience within industries relevant to the Western Cape economy (tourism, agriculture, marine, energy) is desirable.
• Commitment to an office-based work environment in Mossel Bay.
