Job summary

A leading food company is seeking a Snr Storeman to manage inventory and improve stock systems at their Benoni location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the FMCG sector and be well-versed in inventory control and logistics. Applicants should possess a Grade 12 certificate and ideally a National Diploma in Logistics or Production Management. This permanent position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a department.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts and report data.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and improving the existing stock and code system.
• Controlling raw materials received and issued.
• Conduct interim and final stock counts.
