Duties and Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Recruiting – Leverage online recruiting resources, in‑house applicant tracking system, and internal/external networks to identify and source qualified candidates; develop and maintain a network of contacts; proactively recruit, qualify, and identify candidates for all open positions; review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements; develop an effective pipeline of key talent for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate; facilitate, implement, and document all recruitment policies and procedures.
- Relationship Management – Confer with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments; visit hiring manager departments to understand culture and communicate opportunities; maintain excellent working relations within the client’s HR organization; mentor and coach junior recruiters.
- Process Management – Manage communication with candidates and vendors; develop complete job descriptions; interview candidates using behavioral‑based methodologies; coordinate scheduling and logistics of all interviews; document post‑interview debriefs and feedback; manage offers, negotiations, and closings; conduct follow‑up calls and quality‑improvement studies; maintain accurate documentation for audit; extend offers of employment under client compensation policy.
- Management and Training – Communicate proactively; develop and implement staffing plans; train and educate managers on recruitment process; ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Reporting / Market Intel – Stay informed of recruiting trends and innovative techniques; utilize internal HR recruiting system to capture metrics; assist in preparation of QBR.
- Administrative – Perform related and ad‑hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Knowledge and extensive past use of a server‑based applicant tracking system.
- Excellent prioritization, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop business cases and service requirements while creating and managing strategic alliances.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong work ethic, client orientation, and independent judgment.
- Fast‑paced, detail‑oriented, deadline‑focused execution.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Internet and social media savvy (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
Education and Work Experience
A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ experience in sourcing; background in staffing/recruiting with experience sourcing in the tech/IT industry.
