Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sound Designer & Composer for their studio in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will craft immersive audio, create original scores, and perfect sound assets for multiple media projects while collaborating with directors and designers.

The role demands extensive sound design experience paired with a strong portfolio, proficiency in major DAWs, and a deep understanding of acoustics and Foley techniques. A degree in Music Production or related field is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of audio mixing, mastering, and acoustics.
• Experience with field recording and Foley art.
• Ability to compose music across various genres and styles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• A degree in Music Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
