Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain its cloud infrastructure in Sandton. You will build scalable, secure cloud-native applications and services, leveraging modern technologies and distributed systems expertise.

The role focuses on IaC, CI/CD, and collaboration with DevOps and other engineering teams to ensure reliable operations and performance.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development, with at least 2 years in cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
