Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote-first team to build scalable full-stack applications. You will develop APIs, work with databases, and support cloud-based services in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

You’ll use React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and backend tech like Node.js or Python, deploy via Docker and CI/CD, and work across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to improve performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience building and supporting production software applications.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and code quality.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum or similar development processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability during U.S. business hours.
