Placements24 is seeking a strategic Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media initiatives with a fully remote role tied to Polokwane operations. You will develop and execute innovative strategies to boost brand visibility, drive engagement, and cultivate a vibrant online community.

The role requires deep knowledge of trends, platform best practices, and analytics to measure success. You will guide content creation, manage paid campaigns, and represents the brand voice across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media management with proven community growth.
• Strong knowledge of major platforms, ads capabilities, and algorithms.
• Proficient with social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).
• Create, curate and schedule platform-specific content (text, images, video, stories).
• Monitor channels for trends, engage followers, respond to inquiries.
• Plan and execute paid social campaigns, optimize for audiences, budget, performance.
• Analyze metrics, generate reports, provide insights for strategy.
• Stay updated on platform changes to maintain competitive edge.
