Job summary
NTT DATA in Johannesburg seeks a hands-on Senior Snowflake Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across enterprise Snowflake implementations. You will own design, deployment, stabilisation and optimisation of data platforms, working with delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience delivering enterprise Snowflake implementations.
- Experience with ELT/ETL, ingestion, batch and streaming patterns.
- Knowledge of security, RBAC, data governance and cost management.
- Proven ability to lead senior engineers and guide delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering of enterprise Snowflake data platforms from design to deployment.
- Own technically complex components and lead Snowflake workstreams.
- Contribute to solution design, evaluate scalability, security and cost.
- Define engineering standards, reference patterns and accelerators.
- Design batch, near real-time and real-time ingestion and processing patterns.
- Review code and configurations for production readiness and quality.
- Guide teams through practical technical leadership and knowledge transfer.
- Support deployment, production stabilisation and troubleshooting.
