The ideal candidate has a Safety Management Diploma, extensive knowledge of mining legislation, and a background in explosives and underground environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant experience in explosives and underground mining.
• Knowledge of OHS Act, Explosives Act, and Mines Health and Safety Act.
• Sound knowledge of ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adapt SHEQ behaviour and skills.
• Implement corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Develop safety programs and campaigns.
