Job summary

A global engineering firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead innovations in the ServiceNow platform. You will manage, develop, and troubleshoot the ServiceNow platform while collaborating with a diverse team. Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator as a minimum.
  • ITIL certification in service management foundation level is desirable but not essential.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, structured, and methodical approach.
  • Requirements capture and analysis experience.
  • Experience with web technologies (XML, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS).
  • Understanding of integration technologies (REST/SOAP) and MID server configurations.
  • High energy, motivated, open-minded and willing to embrace innovation and new technology.

  • Managing, supporting, troubleshooting and developing the ServiceNow platform and its integrations on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Run code reviews and testing of system configuration within the ServiceNow platform and its integrations.
  • Lead in cross functional, business‑facing workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify emerging development opportunities.
  • Recommend continuous improvements to processes and ways of working based on process improvement feedback from client groups.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies in the ServiceNow scope.
  • Lead with application and platform upgrades and decommissions.
  • Working with partners and vendors to achieve project and initiative outcomes.
  • Continuing your personal development and career growth with support from our experienced members, learning platforms and partners.
Is this role right for you?
