We are looking for a Senior Security Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestige sites in Johannesburg.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum PSIRA Grade A (Renewed)
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- No criminal record
- Excellent administration / organizational skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team building skills
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Very good relationship skills
- Neat and presentable
- Physically and mentally fit for a challenging environment
- Supervisory experience
- Security industry experience
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be critically important in the day-to-day operation and administration of AM operations, building a great team culture, cultivating strong relationships, aligning on goals and expectations, staying engaged in the work, and creating space for accountability and learning.
- As the Senior Security Supervisor, you will create and maintain engagement with supervisors, team leaders, and security officials, improving their performance and retention.
- Ensure the 3 PPPs are actively upheld: Protect the premises and property of the client, Prevent illegal trespassing, Prevent any criminal activities from happening.
- To supervise the above to a level of excellence, you will ensure that you and your teams: Do night patrols, Provide visible patrolling on the site, Provide immediate armed reaction, Do incident management, Ensure PSIRA certificates are valid through quarterly reviews and notify members if certificates are close to expiring.
- Conduct bi-annual criminal checks on all security personnel.
- Maintain valid firearm competency certificates for all staff.
- Pile crime statistics and reports, identify crime trends, and implement preventative measures.
- Manage key control lists, oversee sick notes and annual leave to ensure staff take leave according to the roster.
- Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as scheduled.
