Job summary

The Focus Group is seeking an SAP PaPM Expert to design, implement and optimize PaPM models, with strong integration to SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, HANA and Analytics Cloud. You will also develop ABAP processes and ensure smooth data flows across PAPM use cases.

You will optimize performance, automate PaPM processes, and support month-end close, testing cycles, and transports across environments, delivering production support and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP PaPM and related SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP PaPM models to support cost allocations, ALM Model, Margin models, VAT allocations, GL analytics and other PAPM use cases.
• Integrate SAP PaPM with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and external systems.
• Develop and optimize SAP HANA SQL Script, AMDP procedures, and CDS Views where required.
• Develop and maintain ABAP processes linked to PAPM models and BW.
• Monitor and optimize model performance to improve execution times and resource utilization.
• Design and maintain process automation, scheduling, and background execution of PaPM processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PaPM models, HANA procedures, and data integration.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities through PaPM processing.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage transports across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Perform relevant testing during ODS, DB and Application layer upgrades.
• User support for SAP PaPM.
