Position Overview

a leading FMCG confectionery manufacturer, is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to strengthen and grow its market presence in the Limpopo Province / Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will have strong wholesale experience, a deep understanding of route-to-market dynamics, and the ability to drive sales within the confectionery and FMCG sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand sales within the wholesale, retail, and spaza trade channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and key trade partners.
  • Execute and monitor in-store promotions, merchandising, and visibility programs.
  • Conduct regular route planning and customer visits to ensure territory coverage.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence reports.
  • Drive achievement of sales targets and ensure consistent product availability.
  • Ensure efficient order management, deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential; a Sales or Marketing qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ FMCG sales experience with strong exposure to the wholesale sector (essential).
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence (non-negotiable).
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and achieve sales targets.
  • Good knowledge of the Limpopo trade environment and independent market.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
Remuneration

A competitive package including a basic salary, commission, and travel allowance will be offered in line with company policy.
