Position Overview

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing major clients, conducting site assessments, preparing quotations, and representing Sicon Group at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business and actively grow the company’s sales pipeline.
  • Conduct site inspections, assessments, and gather technical information for quotations.
  • Prepare and present detailed roofing, waterproofing, and performance coating quotations, including problem‑finding reports and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and facility managers.
  • Manage strategic accounts and provide professional after‑sales support.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Work closely with the operations, QS, and project teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Represent Sicon Group professionally at meetings, presentations, and site visits.
  • Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence to management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (roofing, waterproofing, coatings, or related sectors essential).
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial and commercial roofing systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to read drawings, BOQs, site reports, and interpret scopes of work.
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, CRM, etc.).
  • High level of professionalism, discipline, and self‑motivation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
Preferred (Advantageous)
  • Experience working with property funds, asset managers, malls, facility management companies, architects, or quantity surveyors.
  • Experience quoting large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
Remuneration
  • Basic Salary: R40 000 – R50 000 per month (experience dependent)
  • Commission: 5% of contract value exc Vat.
