Senior Reservations & Front Office Coordinator (Hospitality)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, service-driven Senior Reservations / Front Office professional to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will manage all reservation functions, oversee front office operations, and play an active role as an on-site host, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. This is a live-in position; the successful applicant must be willing to reside on the property.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations Management
- Handle all accommodation bookings (email, phone, booking platforms).
- Maintain accurate reservation systems and daily occupancy reports.
- Manage guest confirmations, pre‑arrival communication and special requests.
- Liaise with sales, housekeeping, and operations to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor OTA channels, update availability, and ensure rate parity.
Front Office Operations
- Oversee guest check‑ins, check‑outs, and daily guest relations.
- Manage front office procedures, cash‑ups, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure guest queries and complaints are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Supervise and support junior front office staff if applicable.
Hosting Duties
- Act as an on‑site host for guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.
- Engage with guests during their stay, offering assistance, recommendations, and support.
- Represent the establishment professionally at all times.
- Assist with hosting events, functions, or activities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in reservations and/or front office roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., Semper or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, well‑presented, and confident in guest engagement.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be available immediately.
- Must be willing to live on‑site.
- Driver’s licence advantageous.
