Together Staffing group seeks a driven Senior Project Development Manager to support renewable energy projects across solar, wind, and water sectors in Cape Town. The role involves leading development through late-stage execution and mentoring junior team members.

You will drive site selection, coordinate permitting, and contribute to land strategies while managing budgets and timetables within an international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience managing renewable energy development projects.
• Knowledge of solar, wind, and/or water infrastructure.
• Strong project and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with project financial modelling and budgeting.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of renewable energy projects from early development through late-stage execution.
• Lead site selection activities and contribute to land acquisition strategies.
• Coordinate permitting processes and manage approvals with authorities.
• Evaluate opportunities for technical improvements that enhance project performance.
• Support commercial discussions and contribute to contractual agreements.
• Manage project budgets, financial models, and development timelines.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Guide and mentor junior team members while maintaining high-quality standards.
