Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Sanitation Operations Manager to oversee nationwide sanitation services from a remote office. You will lead a distributed team, develop sanitation strategies, and ensure compliance across client sites while maintaining high hygiene standards.

The role requires at least 7 years in sanitation or facilities management, strong leadership and data-driven decision making, and a background in health and safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sanitation management or related operations.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and operations.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and best practices.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, oversee sanitation policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and lead a remote team of sanitation supervisors and personnel, ensuring performance standards are met and exceeded.
• Monitor and analyze sanitation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, health and safety, and client relations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct regular remote audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards across all designated areas.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, products, and methods in the cleaning and sanitation industry, recommending adoption where appropriate.
• Handle escalated client concerns related to sanitation services, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the sanitation department.
