Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Project Manager to lead software development projects with distributed teams across South Africa. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and guide initiatives in a fully remote environment based in Port Elizabeth.

The role requires a strong technical PM with 7+ years of experience, expertise in Agile/Scrum, and excellent leadership and communication skills to drive project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in software development.
• Proven track record of managing remote/distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; PMP or Agile cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects from start to finish.
• Develop detailed schedules, scope, resources, and budget adherence for all projects.
• Facilitate communication among remote development teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Implement and refine Agile/Scrum practices to optimize development processes.
• Proactively manage risks and impediments to keep projects on track.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
