Senior Recruitment Consultant – Built Environment

Location: Hybrid / Remote

Salary: Competitive base + uncapped commission + benefits

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our established and growing team. This role is ideal for a proven recruiter with experience across any one of the following sectors: Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), or Architecture, who thrives in a consultative, relationship‑led environment and is confident operating at all levels with clients and candidates.

The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of a specialist desk within the built environment sector, managing the full recruitment lifecycle and developing long‑term partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for permanent and/or contract roles
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted recruitment partner
  • Liaise confidently with candidates and clients at all levels, from junior professionals to senior leadership and directors
  • Proactively develop new business while nurturing and expanding existing accounts
  • Source, interview, and assess candidates to ensure high‑quality placements
  • Negotiate offers, manage counter‑offers, and oversee a smooth onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance with recruitment standards
About You
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant within built environment discipline
  • Strong understanding of the technical recruitment market and industry trends
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels
  • Commercially driven with a consultative and solutions‑focused mindset
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and performance‑oriented
