We are looking for an experienced, driven Senior Recruitment Associate to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing this division. This is a unique opportunity to build a desk from the ground up in a high‑growth market, leveraging the existing established infrastructure, processes, and reputation.
You will be at the forefront of our expansion into the Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Provider sectors, operating a full‑degree consultant model.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and engage target clients within the medical sector, including multinational pharmaceutical corporations, global medical device leaders, and major private healthcare groups.
- Client Engagement: Win new business through targeted outreach, cold calling, and building your professional network.
- Full‑Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from taking detailed job briefs to sourcing, screening, and shortlisting high‑caliber candidates for roles such as Sales Representatives, Quality Officers, Field Service Engineers, and other specialized positions.
- Candidate Management: Build and maintain a strong network of candidates, providing expert career advice, interview coaching, and managing the offer and onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience.
- Market Leadership: Develop a deep understanding of the medical and healthcare sectors, positioning yourself and the firm as the go‑to recruitment experts in this space.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Essential: A minimum of 5‑10 years of experience in an agency recruitment environment, operating a full‑degree desk with a strong focus on business development.
- Proven Success: A demonstrable track record of winning new business through persistent and consultative sales activities, including cold calling.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to engage confidently with executive contacts and specialized professionals.
- Drive & Resilience: A high‑energy, results‑oriented individual who thrives under pressure, works with a sense of urgency, and can skillfully overcome objections.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with IT systems, social media (especially professional networking platforms for business development), and experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Industry Experience (Preferred): While direct experience in medical or pharmaceutical recruitment is highly advantageous, we welcome applications from strong full‑degree recruiters with a genuine interest and a demonstrated ability to master new technical sectors.
