Requirements include a B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying (360 credits), SACQS PrQS registration, and at least 5 years in quantity surveying or related fields; strong leadership and contract management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying with 360 credits.
• 5 years in quantity surveying/cost engineering/cost management/engineering and construction contracts.
• SACQS Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) registration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle.
• Manage the delivery of the project quantity surveying service.
• Manage team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities.
• Represent project controls in tender evaluations, contract clarification and cost negotiations.
• Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services.
• Lead and support the collation and compilation of contract documentation.
• Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.
