Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Quality Inspector in Gauteng to perform in-process inspections of components and finished products, release and quarantine activities, and root cause analysis for NCRs. The role requires 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment and proficiency in reading drawings and using measuring instruments.

The ideal candidate will hold Grade 12 and a technical qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
• Grade 12.
• Technical qualification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection of components and finished product (Release/Quarantine/Rework)
• Ensure that measuring instrument in area of responsibility is calibrated.
• Be involved in NCR investigations (Root Cause Analysis).
• Perform project products inspection when required.
• Perform receiving inspection when required.
• Participate in the maintenance of the Quality Management System where required
