Qualifications

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and contract quality plan.
• Oversee factory acceptance tests at suppliers.
• Supervise and inspect goods delivered to site.
• Conduct on-site inspections and manage planning.

Hire Resolve’s client, a well positioned South African company that provides energy solutions, is searching for a Senior Quality Assurance/ Quality Controller to join their team in Kew, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Keep and maintain highest levels of compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and Contract Quality Plan requirements and Client Specifications.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests at Suppliers.
• Ensure supplier Data book requirements are met and approved.
• Supervise / inspect goods delivered to site.
• Be very thorough and meticulous in all aspects of the various quality documented information, being accountable for all own actions.
• Apply quality procedures strictly.
• Work overtime at very short notice.
• Enforce maintaining tidy and high levels of quality workmanship.
• Continuous training of staff on their quality involvement.
• Assist the Site Manager in various functions.
• Keep and maintain highest levels of quality for site activities.
• Manage, plan, inform and chair on-site inspections.

Requirements

• Matric
• At least five (5) years’ experience in the site project environment / management
• Clerk of Works qualification or experience advantageous
• Computer literacy essential, including the use of Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have own reliable transport. May be required to travel long distances from time to time.
• Good command of the English language both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (advantageous)
