Job summary

A leading sheet metal manufacturer in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance professional. The role involves leading quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with international standards, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering, alongside 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance. The position offers a full-time contract and requires in-person work.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in sheet metal or railway manufacturing.
• Certification in ISO, IRIS, or EN is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee inspections of raw materials and products.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, IRIS, EN, and other standards.
• Validate welding processes, surface treatments, and tolerances.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement actions.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and support Lean initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior QA staff on quality standards.
