Ditto, a Cape Town-based recruitment tech company, is seeking an experienced Python developer to design, build and maintain features on Ditto.Work using Django and modern tech stacks. You will collaborate with product, success and sales teams to convert real client problems into reliable software and AI-enabled capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in Python, strong Django skills, solid SQL, and front-end experience with Vue.js.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong Django experience.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Experience working with Docker.
• Comfortable working with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Good understanding of security best practices.
• Ability to work in an evolving codebase.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools or building with LLMs is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, building and maintaining features in Python and Django.
• Collaborate with product, customer success and sales to translate client problems into specs and working software.
• Build and improve AI-driven features, including search, matching and automation.
• Work with large datasets to improve search, ranking and understanding of candidate information.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and bugs before users are affected.
• Improve existing systems alongside new features.
• Write readable, testable code that others can maintain and extend.
• Take ownership of problems from idea through production.
