Take charge of a high-impact property portfolio across a leading professional services environment.

About the Role

As Senior Property Manager, you will oversee the strategic and operational management of an extensive property and facilities portfolio. The role demands both leadership and hands-on execution — ensuring operational excellence, legal compliance, and the delivery of a safe, sustainable, and efficient workplace.

You will lead a dedicated team responsible for facilities, leases, maintenance, and ESG development, ensuring every aspect of the firm’s property footprint reflects its values of quality, accountability, and sustainability.

Who the Client Is

This opportunity is with a top-tier professional services firm operating across Africa. The organisation is known for its excellence, client commitment, and operational sophistication. Their property function underpins a culture of performance, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage all aspects of the firm’s property and lease portfolio, including renewals and negotiations.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and security operations across all offices.
  • Lead and motivate property and office services teams, ensuring high standards and responsiveness.
  • Prepare and manage property-related budgets and expenditure.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Appoint and manage contractors and service providers for optimal performance and value.
  • Support space planning, relocations, and future acquisitions or disposals.
  • Embed ESG principles — driving sustainability, energy efficiency, and social responsibility.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on property and operational matters.
What You Bring
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (property, facilities, or related field).
  • 8+ years’ experience in corporate or professional services property management.
  • Proven financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Deep understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
  • A passion for sustainability and operational excellence.
What Success Looks Like
  • Efficient, compliant, and cost-effective property operations.
  • Engaged, high-performing facilities and property teams.
  • Measurable progress in ESG and sustainability objectives.
  • Trusted relationships with leadership and service partners.
  • A workplace environment that reflects the firm’s culture of excellence.
