Network Finance in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the day-to-day accounting function within the property portfolio.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years' accounting experience (including 2+ years in property) and proven Excel proficiency; MDA Property Manager experience is essential.

You will manage monthly reports, budgeting assistance, and liaise with stakeholders to support financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in the property industry.
• MDA Property Manager experience - essential!
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of the full accounting function.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive, deadline-driven individual who takes ownership and delivers results.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage reconciliations, general ledger accounts and month-end processes.
• Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records using MDA Property Manager.
• Support property-related accounting processes, including rental income, tenant accounts and property expenses.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support financial decision-making.
