About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical logistics and supply chain projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation within their global operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing complex projects related to supply chain optimization, warehouse management, and transportation systems. This role is essential for enhancing operational performance, reducing costs, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods, contributing significantly to the company's strategic objectives in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of logistics and supply chain projects.
Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Manage project teams, including internal staff, external consultants, and vendors, in a remote setting.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
Optimize supply chain processes, implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to executive leadership.

Requirements

A minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management, with a specialization in logistics and supply chain management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects in the logistics sector.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, warehousing, and transportation management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, adept at remote team management.
