Senior Project Manager at BankservAfrica, part of the South African National Payments System.

Location

City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Purpose

The person in this role will be part of the Project Management Office and is responsible for providing project management skills, according to BankservAfrica policies and standards, in support of the company's business and product strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of projects and / or programs across various business units, programs and portfolios
  • Design, develop and monitor schedules and budgets for assigned projects / programs
  • Collaborate with customers to develop project scope of work documents, project and program management plans, and schedules
  • Utilize project management skills to manage resources, identify requirements, meet training needs, define deliverables, ensure customer satisfaction and reporting structures, and maintain quality
  • Identify the approach to be used on a given project / program
  • Manage project / program lifecycles and change management processes
  • Provide input into Project Office reporting, including updating the Project Management application
  • Maintain overall control, management and reporting on project / program status, costs, issues and risks
Qualifications / Knowledge
  • Project Management qualification PMP certification
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Development
