The Role: Senior Project Manager - Social Media Moderation
You'll oversee and contribute to the effective moderation of online content across multiple client projects. This includes applying client-specific moderation guidelines, mentoring moderation staff, escalating critical issues appropriately, and maintaining clear and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Moderate user-generated content on designated platforms following company and client guidelines.
Use standard response templates when required.
Accurately report moderation activity and escalate sensitive content.
Review content decisions with peers or managers when needed.
Provide mentoring and onboarding support to new moderators.
Complete shift reports and track updates via project tools (e.g., Basecamp).
Notify project managers of technical issues or process concerns.
Attend team meetings and request refresher training when needed.
About You
2+ years' experience in content moderation or community management.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and user interaction.
Fluent in English; additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is a major asset:
High Volume: Arabic, French, German, Spanish
Medium Volume: Dutch, Italian, Japanese
Low Volume: Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish
Tiny Volume: Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Welsh
Excellent written communication and decision-making skills.
Technically proficient and confident using digital tools.
Organized, calm under pressure, and self-motivated.
