The ideal candidate has a professional Architecture degree, SACAP registration, 7+ years in commercial/retail environments, and strong knowledge of SA building codes.

Qualifications

• A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Current SACAP Professional Architect registration.
• 7+ years of post-graduate experience focused on commercial/retail architecture.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate complex projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of SA building regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and project management for commercial and retail developments.
• Develop innovative and functional design concepts that align with client briefs and market trends.
• Produce comprehensive architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D models.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
