Job summary

GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Production Manager for the automotive manufacturing sector in Gauteng. You will lead production planning, supervise staff, and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements to ensure optimal workflow and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in the industry, a degree in Operations/Project/Business Management, and strong Excel skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transport are required, with opportunities for growth and performance-based rewards.

Qualifications

5–10 years experience in Automotive Manufacturing, with at least 4 years in Production Management.
Degree in Operations | Project or Business Management.
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel ability.
Experience leading Lean improvement initiatives and Six Sigma projects.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, 45001 and 14001.
Strong experience with workflow management, quality standards, 5S, stakeholder communications, production planning and coordination, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

Oversee production management and ensure smooth flow of manufacturing processes.
Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency and quality.
