JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to and implement the TFG Beauty Private Label (PL) strategy within the product group.
  2. Manage and implement the product development and product execution sign-off processes in line with TFG Beauty Processes.
  3. Participate actively in the development and implementation of new products.
  4. Understand and benchmark the quality, innovation, and sustainability of products.
  5. Develop and implement innovation opportunities.
  6. Manage and implement sustainability processes within the Product Group.
  7. Ensure compliance with TFG's GMP policies.
  8. Continuously assess opportunities for value engineering with tracking and measurement.
  9. Evaluate and set new product standards where applicable.
  10. Stay informed about local and overseas raw material and new product developments.
  11. Ensure all Private Label products comply with local and international regulations and standards.
  12. Provide input into supplier strategy and onboarding as required.

Customer Focus

  1. Analyze customer feedback through various channels to improve product quality and durability.
  2. Address and resolve all customer complaints within the required timelines.

Supplier Performance Review

  1. Review supplier performance post-season, focusing on key metrics.
  2. Identify trends and recommend improvements.

People Management

Develop, motivate, mentor, and inspire Technologists and Assistant Technologists to achieve group strategies and high performance.

Supplier Management

  1. Manage the beauty category manufacturing processes.
  2. Ensure manufacturing aligns with best practices.
  3. Maintain relationships with manufacturers to meet technical standards.
  4. Manage specifications and technical packs to meet aesthetic, technical, performance, and quality expectations.
  5. Manage the supply base according to Group Strategy.
  6. Drive sustainability initiatives with Group Sustainability.
  7. Develop and nurture supplier relationships.
  8. Identify new opportunities for enterprise and supplier development.

Stakeholder Management

  1. Maintain seamless relationships with design, buying, planning, and marketing teams.
  2. Empower buying groups with product knowledge.
  3. Share product development ownership with design and buying teams, ensuring adherence to critical timelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BTECH / Chemistry / Engineering / Material Sciences
  • 2 years retail experience
  • 3 years product development experience
