Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Broadcast Producer to join a focused and dedicated team.

This role ensures efficient and cost-effective production from creative briefing through the final wrap-up of the job.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling and running productions with a team of creatives and client service on assigned TVCs, AVs, digital & content integrated and radio productions.

The role supports the agency's vision of bringing a powerful voice to brands that matter and delivers the agency's mission of creating meaningful work that makes a huge impact.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule the production process.

Manage all aspects of production: briefing, costing, booking approvals, setting up work‑in‑progress meetings, final approvals, sending out purchase orders and reconning the job, all in a timely and effective manner.

Maintain communication with necessary creative, client service and production teams to facilitate workflow.

Comfortable being client facing.

Identify potential legal issues and interface with Head of Production to resolve issues.

Negotiate, generate and manage all aspects of schedules and budgets.

Present production budgets and schedules and address production‑related questions internally and with the client.

Source the best post‑production partners for each job if necessary.

Build and maintain relationships with third‑party production suppliers.

Negotiate competitive pricing and scheduling.

Keep abreast of current industry and technological trends.

Foster innovative solutions.

Ensure adherence to the highest industry standards.

Maintain client satisfaction, manage expectations and ensure projects are on strategy, on time and within budget, well documented, archived and closed.

Ensure all materials arrive at their destination on time, including final masters for trafficking.

Cultivate strong relationships with all internal departments and industry partners.

Provide general and admin support to the Head of Agency Production.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification.

8 or more years' experience as a Broadcast Producer in an advertising agency or production house.

Knowledge of content & commercial post‑production and scheduling processes.

Experience managing television, digital content & post‑production timelines.

Experience producing web content & mobile content is advantageous.

Strong understanding and knowledge of the production process from conception and negotiation through traffic.

Technical understanding of post‑production, broadcast and digital deliverables.

Understanding of and negotiating music rights.

Understanding of on‑camera renewals.

Excellent presentation skills.
