Job summary

A renewable energy company in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager. The role entails leading the procurement of infrastructure and equipment for large-scale renewable projects. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and at least 8 years of procurement experience, including in the South African market. Fluency in English and strong negotiation skills are essential. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in procurement of construction or infrastructure works; at least 3 years in the South African market.
• Proven track record in managing tender and contract processes (EPC, CBoP, EBoP).
• Familiarity with permitting and local market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for infrastructure scopes.
• Lead multi-stage tender processes from RfQ to contract award.
• Draft and negotiate infrastructure and long-term service contracts.
